Born and bred in London, Saoud Khalaf is a filmmaker. He began directing music videos at the age of 16, and then developed onto working with other genres of film, such as short fiction films and documentaries. After his A levels, he studied at the London College of Communication on a Film Studies Foundation Diploma, followed by a Bachelors Degree in Filmmaking & Digital Cinematography at Met Film School.
Since graduating, he has been working as a videographer and content creator within the film and music industry, with his work being hosted via a number of platforms including GRM Daily, SBTV, Link Up TV, Boiler Room & BBC Radio 1Xtra, with clients such as Ghetts, Professor Green, Lowkey, Universal Music, Polydor Records (Jax Jones, Ramz, Mabel, M.O, Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, ADP, Celeste), Sony Music, Since 93 (Aitch, Amun), Black Butter (Young T & Bugsey) and more!
Telling true life stories through music and films are Saoud's special interest in filmmaking and he focuses on how to connect people to the wider communities and spread an understanding of the socio economic differences in London. Saoud is open to diversified genres and new concepts to promote and challenge our visual perceptions of our world.
